Programmatic SSIS Development using Object Model

Sam Kolli, BI Dev Nanhealth

A major component of building data warehouses is ETL development. Typically, building ETL packages ends up taking longer time to develop or modify. However, Microsoft also provides an API that will help in alternate ways of SSIS development and thus help us to develop or modify ETL packages faster than the typical way of using SSDT. This session is to give an overview of the SSIS object model and suggest some ways of using it for our benefit.

About Sam:
I have been working as a SQL Server developer since 2005. The last few years has been exclusively in the Analytic side of things and involved in building data warehouses and analytic environments.
