Our featured presenter hasn't specified a presentation at this time, but I'm really looking forward to hearing from Drew who has been doing some really cool stuff according to the Twitter.

Featured Presenter: Drew Furgiuele
Drew is an experienced Microsoft SQL Server DBA who both enjoys and excels at making SQL Server run faster. Over 15 years experience with the database engine starting with SQL Server 2000 up through and including SQL Server 2017. Strong knowledge of query performance turning and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ETL operations. First-hand experience with legacy system upgrades from older versions of SQL Server to the latest version. Designed and configured disaster recovery documentation and procedures for rapid data recovery, and also high-availability of the data engine of multiple servers in a Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC), SQL Server Replication, and AlwaysOn Availability Groups. Passionate about automation and source control, and looks for opportunities to make routine tasks "disappear" through the use of tools such as Windows PowerShell. Worked with internal security teams to review database access levels, develop auditing, and create written policies on group, user, and service account permissions.

"In my current role I am a very valued member of both the server infrastructure and developer operations team."
